Happy New Year to everyone around the world! It has been a few days and I'm sure many of you have been making resolutions to conquer the year with. I have found myself in the same boat as many of you. This year I have many things on my list that I would like to complete before the year is up. I would like to become cleaner, heathier, and feel good about myself. This is common among most of us, as a new year symbolizes a time to renew ourselves and become better. What I also want to do is to read more. This is not only due to the massive amount of books I have in my home, but also due to the want to feed my brain stories and information that books can give me. I have made a goal that seems doable as it is only 12 books for the whole year. You may be asking, what are the books that I want to read this year?. The answer..... whatever I pick up. Meg Cabot in my opinion is legendary. She is my absolute favorite author so why not write a post about her? To start off I want to give a little background on how I stumbled upon this brilliant author. Short story, it started when I was in the sixth grade, (in the library of course), and I needed something to read when I happened upon a book with a crown. The first book in the Princess Diaries series, The Princess Diaries. This takes us perfectly to our topic of the day. Book vs. Movie! (Both Princess Diaries movies to be exact.)
